Özhedef Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi (the “Company”) processes the personal data you share through the Gurbet Kasko service brand and application website in accordance with the applicable legislation, primarily the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), and within the scope explained below. Gurbet Kasko is not an insurance company; the Company provides intermediary services in its capacity as an insurance agency registered with the TOBB Insurance Agencies Registry.

1. Categories of Personal Data Processed

• Identity data: full name, date of birth, nationality, ID/passport number (where required by the policy process)
• Contact data: telephone, e-mail, domestic/foreign address
• Vehicle and registration data: licence plate, chassis number, make/model, model year, country of registration
• Travel data: date of entry into Türkiye (Turkey), province/district of stay, duration of stay
• Request and preference data: selected products, package and payment method preference (no payment is collected through the website; no card data is processed)
• Transaction security and technical records: IP address, browser information (user-agent), form submission timestamp, consent records
• Form drafts: if you leave your application unfinished, the information you entered into the form may be retained as a draft so that we can reach you and provide assistance

2. Purposes of Processing and Legal Grounds

• Preparation of quotations and intermediation in application processes — KVKK Art. 5/2-c: processing based on your pre-contractual request, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion of a contract
• Fulfilment of legal obligations (insurance legislation, MASAK, retention obligations) — KVKK Art. 5/2-ç
• Management of contact requests, service quality and security records — KVKK Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest
• Campaign and renewal reminders — only if you give separate and explicit consent, KVKK Art. 5/1: explicit consent (you may withdraw this consent at any time)

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Your data may be transferred to authorised partner insurance companies for the purpose of carrying out quotation and policy processes, to technical service providers (hosting, e-mail infrastructure) to the extent required by the operation, and to authorised public authorities upon request. The website infrastructure is hosted in Germany; accordingly, data is stored abroad in compliance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

4. Retention Period

Records relating to application and policy processes are retained for 10 years from the end of the relationship, in accordance with the retention obligations set out in insurance legislation; applications that do not result in a policy and form drafts are deleted, destroyed or anonymised at the end of a reasonable follow-up period.

5. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request rectification if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately, to request the erasure or destruction of the data, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, to object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.
