Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Conditions

Gurbet Kasko is the service brand and application site used by Özhedef Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi for owners of foreign-plated vehicles. The Company is not the party providing insurance cover; it is an insurance agency that intermediates the quotation and policy processes (TOBB registry no: T0869-R991).

1. Performance of the Service and Delivery

Insurance policies are issued by the insurance company after your application is accepted by that company and the premium is paid, and they are delivered electronically (PDF; by e-mail and/or WhatsApp); there is no physical delivery. In combined packages, more than one policy or contract document is delivered. Submitting an application does not guarantee that a policy will be issued; the insurance company may reject the application.

2. Payment

No online payment is taken through this site and no card details are processed. Payment is made after you approve the quote and confirm with our team, by transfer to the official company account shown via the “show” button in the site footer, or through the secure payment channels notified to you. The start of cover is determined by the insurance company’s acceptance, the product terms, completion of the required payment and the start date written in the issued policy. A quotation request or payment transaction alone does not mean that cover has started.

3. Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal, cancellation and refund conditions are assessed according to the product type, contract duration, whether performance has started, the special rules for distance financial services, the acceptance of the relevant insurance company and the policy terms. Termination of a policy and any premium refund are subject to the cancellation conditions below and to the relevant insurance company rules.

4. Cancellation Conditions

As a rule, a policy may be cancelled in the following cases and within the general and special terms of the relevant insurance company:

• Sale or transfer of the vehicle,
• The vehicle being written off (total loss) or withdrawn from traffic,
• A duplicate policy having been issued,
• Death of the insured.

Cancellation requests are assessed by the insurance company that issued the policy; our Company handles communication and coordination in its capacity as agency. You may send your request together with the supporting documents to inf•••@••• (show) or to our WhatsApp line.

5. Refund Calculation and Timing

In the event of cancellation, any premium refund is calculated by the relevant insurance company separately for each policy, on a pro-rata (daily) basis, and is as a rule returned to the account from which payment was made. In a combined package, cancelling a single policy does not automatically terminate the other policies. The refund amount and timing may vary by product and by company; no refund may be payable on policies under which a claim has already been paid.
