Commercial Electronic Messages Notice

This notice has been prepared by Özhedef Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi (“the Company”) to inform you about commercial electronic messages that may be sent under the Gurbet Kasko service brand, within the scope of Law no. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages.

1. Scope of the Consent

If you tick the box “I would like to receive campaign and renewal reminders.” on the application form, campaign, promotional and informational messages and policy renewal reminders may be sent to you via the contact details you prefer (WhatsApp, e-mail and/or SMS). This consent is optional; not giving it does not affect the assessment of your application.

2. Obtaining and Recording the Consent

Your consent is obtained through a separate, unticked box on the application form; the state of the box is recorded together with a timestamp, IP address and browser information. Where required by legislation, consents are also managed through the Message Management System (İYS).

3. Right to Refuse (Opt Out)

You may refuse to receive commercial electronic messages at any time, without giving any reason:

• by using the refusal/opt-out link in the message sent to you,
• by sending your request to inf•••@••• (show),
• by writing “I do not want to be contacted” to our WhatsApp line,
• through İYS (iys.org.tr) within the scope of the legislation.

Your refusal is applied within 3 business days at the latest. Mandatory notifications relating to the performance of the contract (for example information about an ongoing application) are not considered commercial messages and fall outside the scope of refusal.

4. Processing of Personal Data

Your personal data within this scope is processed on the basis of your explicit consent; for details see the Privacy Notice. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Contact
